As a new player you automatically get ten starter tasks. The current task is shown on the right side of your screen; at the top of the help tab you see the whole step bar with rewards. Every step instantly puts scrap into your inventory.
1. Gather 1,000 wood – +50 scrap
2. Gather 1,000 stone – +50 scrap
3. Claim a kit (menu → Kits) – +50 scrap
4. Build a foundation – +75 scrap
5. Place a tool cupboard (TC) – +100 scrap
6. Place a door – +75 scrap
7. Place a furnace – +75 scrap
8. Light a furnace – +75 scrap
9. Open 5 crates – +100 scrap
10. Kill 3 scientists – +300 scrap
Bonus after all steps: 60 min "Vitality" buff.
Afterwards, continue with the missions and the season pass.
