/binds (or /tasten, or menu → Options → "Key assistant") lets you put favourite commands on a key. Pick a command on the left – e.g. open menu, /kit, /buffs, /dnd, /tm, /orte, auto collect, item search, notice history – or type your own (with / a chat command, without / a console command). Then pick a key: F2–F12, the number pad or a letter. The assistant builds the finished console line, e.g. bind f2 "chat.say /kit".
The server is not allowed to bind your keys itself – Rust doesn't permit that. So: click the field, press Ctrl + A and Ctrl + C, open the console with F1, paste at the bottom with Ctrl + V and press Enter. Rust keeps the binding permanently. "Keep" stores up to 8 lines in the assistant.
Remove it again with unbind key (e.g. unbind f2). Careful: a key Rust already uses loses its old function.
