Auction house

In the "Auction house" tab (Shop group, or with /auction) there are two auction houses run by the server: the scrap auction house and the Radcoin auction house. Each always runs 20 auctions with random items from a list set by the staff. Every card shows the item, amount, current bid, number of bidders, time left and your status.

Unlock: before you may bid on an auction you unlock it once. The fee is shown on the button, only counts for this exact auction and is not refunded – neither if you win nor if you lose.

Bidding: "Bid: X" places the minimum bid (current bid plus the minimum raise; the first bid is at least the starting bid). Type a higher bid of your own into the field and press Enter. Every unlock and every bid first opens a confirmation window. The amount is taken right away – scrap from your inventory, Radcoins from your account.

Outbid: if someone bids more you get your bid back instantly (without the fee): scrap as a mailbox attachment, Radcoins straight to your account with a note in your mailbox.

Won: when the time runs out the highest bid wins. The item arrives by mail. Claiming only gives you what fits into your inventory – the rest stays in the mailbox until you have room. Your bid is spent.

No bids: if nobody bids, the item is gone when the time runs out. After every ending a new random auction takes the slot right away.

Anti-sniping: when it is switched on, a bid in the last 30 seconds extends the auction by 30 seconds.

My bids: all auctions you have unlocked with their status (highest bidder, outbid, unlocked) and time left, plus your latest events (bids, refunds, wins, expired auctions).

Why? Fees and winning bids disappear for good – this way the auction house takes scrap and Radcoins out of circulation and keeps the economy stable.
